In this class, we will listen to thought-provoking TED talks, and learn how to shadow for language enhancement purposes. You will develop listening, thinking, speaking and interpreting skills in English by doing a series of (hopefully) fun-filled activities under the the guidance of your instructor. You will learn to appreciate English poems, and even be inspired to commit a poem or two to memory. You will read news articles aloud, practice paraphrasing and summary, and talk about current events. You will also take turns hosting DJ sessions to share your favorite songs with the class.
